Low Carb Cauliflower Mash Recipe
This delicious mash is a great potato sustitute and the flaxseed flour makes the recipe a great source of omega fatty acids and super healthy.
1 Head Cauliflower
1/4 Cup Milk
1 tsp Butter
1 Tbsp Flaxseed / Linseed Meal (optional)
1/4 cup chives (optional)
Cook the cauliflower for 10 minutes in the microwave in a little water. Chop the chives.
Drain the water off the cauliflower and add the butter, chives and flaxseed meal.
Mash cauliflower with a fork or potato masher, adding the milk a little at a time and stir in the other ingredients.
This can be served as a side dish with almost anything.
