Quick Beef Bolognaise Recipe

Bolognaise

This delicious meal is quick to prepare. Perfect for week nights.

Ingredients

2 Tbsp Coconut or Avocado Oil
500g Beef Mince
1 Large Onion
1 Bell Pepper
1 tin Tomatoes
100g Green Leafy Veg - I use Baby Spinach, Rocket and Watercress
2 Tbsp Garlic
1 Tbsp Mixed Herbs or Sweet Basil
Cheese Shavings to serve (try Gouda)

Method

Line a pot with the oil. Add the mince and begin to cook on high. Stir the pot every 7 minutes or so.

Chop the onion and add to the mince. Add the garlic and herbs as well. Chop pepper and add to the pot.

Chop the leafy veg roughly. Add the tomatoes and leafy veg to the pot.

Check that there is no pink left on the mince. Turn down the pot to medium heat and allow to simmer for 10-15 minutes.

Serve bolognaise with shavings of cheese on top.
